Christmas 2021

Merry Christmas!

➕
Blessed art Thou, O new-born Savior, who hast descended from on high to teach me the ways of justice, hast become man and equal to me.

In return for this goodness of Thine, I renounce all evil, all sinful desires, words, and deeds. In return for Thy love, I will ever uproot from my heart all carnal desires, and always live soberly, justly, and godly; do Thou by Thy grace, strengthen me in this resolve. #frleonardgoffine

A Wish & Prayer for You

December 24, 2019 by Lena {JOYfilledfamily} Filed Under: Christmas, Christmas Card Leave a Comment

A Child is born to us, and a son is given to us; upon his shoulder is supreme sovereignty, and He shall be called Angel of great counsel.

May the lone light of the Star of Bethlehem remind us that our hope is in God-Christ Child. May we not be overtaken by the darkness of the current times but concentrate on Him, His mother, and her coming triumph.

With our hearts and minds on this expectation, we wish you a Merry Christmas and pray that 2020 be filled with the blessings of Our Lady of Bethlehem.

In His Joy,

Lena & JOYfilledfamily

Christmas Card 2015

Merry Christmas (from the past)

January 4, 2016 by Lena {JOYfilledfamily} Filed Under: 2014 Journey, Christmas, Christmas Card Leave a Comment

2014 Advent & Christmas was spent in and out of the hospital as we were faced with many challenges.  My family was stretched and refine.  It was one of my most difficult periods but I wouldn’t trade it — it was a gift!  I learned how to better live in the moment and to truly grasp that I must live as though this were my last hour.  Deo gratias!

Here is the Christmas Card I would have sent had I not been in the operating room for an emergency surgery on Christmas Day.
