We brought in the New Year as a family, in a remote location, for peace, and discernment — another blessing along this journey.
{funny}
The entire family went running with the bulls, unintentionally of course.
It was an intense experience that I would wish on no one.
We give thanks to the good Lord for His protection and Our Lady’s intercession during this trial.

Rose is able to return to college.
Laudētur Iēsus Christus, hodie et semper! Deo Gratias!
It has been a humbling and edifying experience to see our Good Lord, through the intercession of His Blessed Mother, bring together the hard work and resources of our students, families, old friends and new friends to our cause in order to achieve this noble goal. From the planning and organizing, to the praying and giving, this was truly a collective achievement.

Lil’ Man is almost one and making some major milestones.
He is now waking in series of 6-10 steps at a time. He is devouring all foods we put within his reach. He says mama to melt my heart and get his way. He understands many signs and is using a few signs on his own. He’s become a bit resistant to me leaving his sight since I’ve returned to work part-time. He fell in love with his big sis, again, when she returned home from college. He loves to talk on the phone with his Nana. He is especially fond of the view from Papa’s arms. His hair seems to be getting lighter. He has 6 teeth – 4 up top and 2 on bottom. Dad and I tease that he will be a surgeon due to his precise hand-eye coordination that was impressive from day one and has become bionic. He gives sweet kisses!

Prayer to the Holy Family
O most loving Jesus, Who by Thy sublime and beautiful virtues of humility, obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience and gentleness, and by the example of Thy domestic life, didst bless with peace and happiness the family Thou didst choose on earth, in Thy clemency look down upon this household, humbly prostrate before Thee and imploring Thy mercy. Remember that this family belongs to Thee; for to Thee we have in a special way dedicated and devoted ourselves. Look upon us in Thy loving kindness; preserve us from danger; give us help in time of need, and grant us the grace to persevere to the end in the imitation of Thy Holy Family; that having revered Thee and loved Thee faithfully on earth, we may bless and praise Thee eternally in heaven.
O Mary, most sweet Mother, to thy intercession we have recourse, knowing that thy Divine Son will hear thy prayers.
And do thou, O glorious Patriarch, St. Joseph, assist us by thy powerful mediation, and offer, by the hands of Mary, our prayers to Jesus. Amen.
