We continue to ask ourselves and discern what we ought to be doing during this time of “censorship and signs of outright communism.”
We all know to frequent the sacraments, pray, fast, and offer reparation. But is there more?
A holy shepherd has given the following marching orders and encouragement for the current times.
“We need to redeem the time that is left to us. But we need to this as well — to practice being faithful even in small things because there will be enormous pressures exerted on you in the days to come, to remain silent or even to cooperate in the horrors that are to come.
And, if you don’t train yourself by fighting now…
If you don’t train yourself by embracing personal responsibility now…
If you don’t train yourself by adamantly refusing to cede the realm of truth and goodness in the face of suffering now, even in small ways…
…then you will be blown away like the wind, when the real suffering comes. You will be building on sand. You will have nothing to support you.
We have to be faithful in the small things. Our Lord is very very clear about that. Be faithful in the small things and you will also be faithful in the great! And if that is the case, what a time to be alive! What a time to be alive! When all things are falling apart around us and we are permitted this great honor to be this faithful remnant, to stand up and to say to a society that is falling apart into anarchy and rebellion against God — NO, I WILL NOT FOLLOW!
And even if we should die bloody deaths at the end of that journey, coming into heaven, how many of the saints will look at you and say, “Wow! The 21st century! You made it through the 21st century!”
Just as we look at the great moments and trials of the Church, and we look at those that were faithful through them with awe and wonder, now we have that opportunity. But we have to train ourselves in the small things!”
Below is Father’s complete sermon which covers true obedience. It is worth taking the time to listen to and ought to be shared.
Sancta Familia, ora pro nobis!
“Obedience had become totally unhinged from prudence and right reason.”
