This is Rose and I in front of the Carmel Mission after a 3-day pilgrimage, over 41 miles on foot. Needles to say, we experienced it all – pretty, happy, funny, and real.

wow. That’s an experience you will remember! I read about a pilgrimage in a sweet little book – huh. now I can’t remember the title. It was an American married couple pilgrimaging in Spain.
I was happy to see your photo since the Carmel Mission is my home parish. (If you were at the 5:30 pm Saturday Mass you would have seen me in the back walking my baby. 🙂
Wow.. Its just beautiful, you don’t see many churches of that sort up in Northeast but when we visit Mexico its just so beautiful as that church! You can tell you live out west! 🙂

the pic was taken at the Carmel Mission. we walked over 40 miles to get there. i hope to post more about our pilgrimage in the coming weeks.
