Planners & Calendars

The traditional Catholic Liturgical Year is filled with great reverence, symbolism, and beauty just like the Latin Tridentine Mass.  Each month and each day of the week is named for a special devotion.  We can join in the richness of our Catholic faith by following the days, weeks, seasons and feastdays of the traditional calendar in a natural rhythm that brings us ever closer to God and our Holy Mother Church.

Here are some of the planners & calendars that we have used and loved.

The Saintmaker

This is coined as the Catholic Life Planner. This planner has been transformative in my spiritual life and in assisting me in living out my daily duties according to my Rule of Life.  I honestly, would have never used or promoted it before due to the price point.  But after putting aside my reservations and spending a good season using it with a dear friend (veteran homeschooling Catholic mama of 12 with only one left in the home), I am compelled to share this resource which is so much more than just a “planner.”

Agnus Dei Calendar & Planner

This planner is just as lovely on the inside as it is on the outside.  I consider it to be a larger version of the Saint Calendar & Planner which we also use in our home, office, and school. This planner can be used as a desk planner and put on display for daily viewing or as a liturgical planner.

It has a spiral inner core which allows ease of turning pages and less damage to pages. The space to write in each day is perfect for keeping track of key things. It is not necessarily a planner to track all of one’s daily tasks or full daily rhythm. The colored images of the saints are beautiful portrayals that help to capture their dignity and raise up our minds & hearts as good art should. I’m so excited to use this planner for my liturgical planning and continue to use it as a reference throughout the years — not how it is intended but how it will best fit my needs.

JMJ Planner

This weekly planner is sleek with a leather-like cover with embossed JMJ and year – great for anyone who wants something classy and accessible. It also has a band to keep it closed when not in use. It is elegant and can definitely be appreciated by men and women. It has hours listed on each line to be used for hourly tasks or appointments. But it could also be used as a journal or habit tracker. This planner can easily be used on a desk or thrown in a bag. I think it would make an excellent gift for anyone — Confirmation, graduation, birthday, or just because!
