Dad and I have been prayerfully persevering through a week of new goals, illness, fatigue, physical aliments, delayed school start and the normal daily grind. We have kept our 2011 motto close to us during it all.
Be Charitable. love others, especially our family the way He loves us.
Be Useful. serve always.
Be Gentle. have the loving heart and hand of Mary.
Be Joyful. stay rooted in the true JOY – JESUS. share the JOY with all.
Forget about yourself. die to self, live for God alone.
ALL FOR!…Jesus through Mary with the intercession of St. Joseph.
We found this gem at the thrift store. It was brand new, still in the wrapper and only $2. It was sitting on the CD rack, facing and waiting for us.
The songs, written over a period of ten years, are some of the songs written by the composer and performer, Bradley James, for Mother Teresa and her Sisters, the Missionaries of Charity and are sung by the Sisters in their homes and convents all over the world. The recording contains Mother’s voice, which is blended into the moving and inspiring songs. The liner notes contains Bradley’s stories of how each song came about. There are also copies of some of Mother’s personal letters to the composer. This contemporary collection features original songs including MOTHER’S BUSINESS CARD, DRAW MY HEART, a new and inspired AVE MARIA written for Mother on one of her trips to her native Albania with Pope John Paul II, and a new and completely original gospel version of Mother’s favorite prayer of Saint! Francis of Assisi, PRAYER FOR PEACE.
Thank you Lord for this consolation. We will continue on the journey to grow and serve you. Bl. Teresa of Calcutta, Ora Pro Nobis.
"Each sigh, each look, each act of mine shall be an act of love divine, and everything I shall do, shall be, dear Lord, for love of you. Take this my heart and keep it true: a fountain sealed to all but you. What is there that I would not do today?"
~ Mother Teresa of Calcutta
